    The poster's bird is not a Rhode Island Red or a Rhode Island Red Bantam, they appear much different. A correct one, anyway, not something like a hatchery quality.

    Production Red would be my guess; or because of the chocolate eggs, she could be a production bird mixed breed.

    That is great! I am glad she is adjusting to her new home. However, a French Black-Tailed Red Marans would not be correct for her coloring. The Marans in question has a lighter colored body and darker hackles, meanwhile your bird has almost the same color everywhere as far as I can tell. Also...

    Cackle Hatchery's Production Red hens look very similar to her.

    Pullet for sure, and I do not know the breed, but I agree with a production bird such as Production Red.
