    Hello Chickening 101, If you are looking for a broody breed, I would suggest Salmon Faverolles. I don't have a rooster in that cage but I have 3 SF hens, they all went broody, one is as we speak. -The Angry Hen

    Um... I don't have Welsummers "YET" but their beautiful. Of the breeds I have now... Um... My top three: SS, BC, and BB. (Speckled Sussex, Blue Cochin, and Buff Brahma.) I love how beautiful my Faverolles are but their sloppy when they drink so their beards are yucky... LOL O, I am thinking...
