Thanks for the advice everyone! I decided to hold off on trying shipped eggs. It was just too much of a gamble for me.
However, the other day my mom was in town & saw a local feed store had lav orpingtons for sale! I think I'm going to check them out later this week. 😊
Thats good to know. I've looked through a TON of sites & the Lav. Orpingtons generally all seem to be priced the same. Usually $5-$10 per egg. 😵💫
I think I'm going to look a bit more before I buy though.

To answer some of your advice 1) I want to buy hatching eggs for a few reasons. One being that eggs are a bit cheaper than chicks & two, I'm so afraid of shipping...
