    Cleats on the ramp will make it easier for them to get up and down, and they usually go for the highest roost, not the most comfortable, unless they are low in pecking order and not allowed on the high one.

    Lol, predictive text can be annoying. I prefer scooping the pdz like kitty litter, probably because our coop is not a walk in, it's on legs so it's a pain to change out the floor bedding.

    I put the roost over the top of the nest boxes, and use the top of the nest box as the poop board, covered in Sweet PDZ so it is easy to clean and doesn't smell. Once in a while one of the girls sleeps in the nest box, but most of the time they all sleep on the roost on on the poop board. I...
