In participating I mean by posting. Once the system sees you are not a spammer, (we have several spam protectors in place to keep junk off the forums) and I think 20 posts opens you up, you can then write up articles, review breeds and put in a signature. :-)

You will need to participate a bit more before you can review a chicken breed, however once you can, just go to the chicken breed pages and you will see a place to write a review. :-)

Each time you post, your post count goes up. You are up to 8 posts now. You will get the hang of BYC. It can be a bit daunting at first, but pretty soon you will have all this figured out. :-)

Hello and welcome to BYC! You are seeing members "signatures". Once you have participated a bit more on BYC, (I think 20 posts should do it) you will be able to add a signature. :-)
