    'Good' is not the opposite of 'old'. Floating an egg will only tell you how old it might be. They float due to evaporation when older. It will not tell you if an egg is 'good' or 'bad'.

    Shouldn't need to put new nest bedding in every day. Are they sleeping in the nests at night? That's usually how nests get pooped in.
