Thought of you the other day when a couple of big "basils" crossed the road in front of me :-) so funny to see the thread resurface. Hope he is still growing well. He must be a big boy by now!

Duh lol No experience with ducks so this is just a random thought but do you think if there was something in the brooder that he could feel like he was hiding under he might feel safe enough to sleep?

How fun! I remember being told the native ducks were dreadful parents deserting chicks at the first sign of danger so could well be a deserted duck egg :-) No experience with incubating but curious what will hatch :-)
