Well this is new this week. The RIR has now got really shiny feather strands. I thought it was wet at first. It also has more wing feathers that have just come in. It is 15 weeks. Do the hens get the super glossy feathers,?
These were them as babies if that helps. One of the RIR are gone. Was given to my dad, becaue that one was certainly a rooster. I know there is a trick of some sort with the lines, but im not sure if you can tell from these pics
Nevermind i just went out there with a video of crowing going and that was for sure the sebright! He has quite the vocals. He has that crow down WELL. But he is the same age as my RIR and i havent heard any crowing from him, so would that make the RIR a female?
I JUST HEARD CROWING!!! I heard it all the way in the house and im probably 200 ft from the coop. It was really loud and really developed. When I went out there it stopped. I am thinking it came from the RIR because it was quite a large noise to come from the little seabright. But i could be wrong.
Theyre all the same chicken. Just multiple shots of that red. So you believe it is a rooster? and the seabright? Sorry my camera isnt so great. I will try to get better.
Ok these chickens are around 3 -3.5 months. I had a second red, but by 5 weeks it had a red comb and wattle while the others weren't showing wattle at all. I gave him to my parents thinking i had to red males. Tho this one didn't show wattle until a couple of weeks after the first, it started...
