I think she's close to laying and that's why her comb is getting bigger and redder. I see no male feathering but if you can get a picture of the whole body and tail feathers that would help.

I love the name! I'm thinking your frizzled silkie is a pullet and silkie a roo. But I dono. Does one exhibit more rooster like behavior? I notice my Roos stand pretty tall most of the time, they just seem leggier.
