thanks everyone. I had the prick test done 4 years ago and I get allergy shots. I'm allergic to cats, dogs, grass, birch, rabbits, dust and mold. I don't know if they have a specific chicken dander test but I will ask. The allergy shots have been working amazing.

So right now I have 2 inhalers one is a steroid. The doctor told me to get a test done and also an allergy test to chickens. I wear a good mask now and actually get my husband to do most of the coop stuff. I wash my hand about 40 times a day lol. Thanks for everything guys.

Thank you, do the chickens outside bother you? It's been 2 weeks since the chickens were inside and I'm still coughing and short of breath. I wonder if it's the lingering dust still bother long me inside the house. I always were a respirator when in the coop, you would think it would go away.

I'm also going to get an air purifier. I am going to clean the heck out of this place!

Update They said they think it is asthma from chickens.

Ok thank you, I hope that after I dust the house well again and take proper care this won't happen. I pretty much just see the chickens outside now. I would rather see them outside only then not at all.

Really? I hope it will just go away. I'm going away for the weekend I will see if It gets better, if not I will go to the doctor. If I clean the house well, never bring them into the house again and wear a mask you think this will get better? Thanks
