    I have a black australorp chick - she's about a week old. She will not stop peeping/chirping - whatever. My daughter and I have been cuddling her, carrying her inside our shirts, I let her sit on my shoulder underneath my hair, etc. She stops peeping when she gets a drink or a bite of food...
