okay good neews she’s actively drinking on her own right now! there unfortunately isn’t a vet that’s close enough to take her to. my other birds seem to be doing okay.

and when the symptoms showed up originally what i was assuming was it was just a temporary irritation from cleaning out the coop (dust remains being breathed in) because the rooster and other hen had the bubbly eyes and stuff but it was gone within a couple days so i didn’t think much more of it...

she’s inside and doesn’t seem too interested in either. i have a setup so i can try to keep an eye on her and care for her though the night. i can’t seem to find my syringe

i think i have some from when i have to give them antibiotics. i’m trying to give her some water right now. i put it up to her beak and she drank it but other than that won’t on her own.

i haven’t noticed any abnormal poop yet but i will definately keep an eye out and see if i can spot anything.

only thing i’m noticing is the gurgling and she’s keeping her mouth open as she breathes. and of course unable to move.

she’s always been a bigger chicken but she has felt a bit boney lately. i’ll check the other stuff as well. i already checked her eyes as well as the eyes of the other chickens and the bubbles they had before seem to have gone away. i haven’t checked ears or anything else yet so that’s a god idea 😁
