Yes...even in Fl it can get cold in the winter. 30's maybe shorts weather for some of you but to Floridians its Cold...lol this is our first fireplace.....not used it yet.- chickenzoo

Everytime we have wild sideways rain etc ( I'm in Fl, it happens often...). Rain seems to come in from the top vent of my chimney. Is their something I can put on the vent up top to deflect rain better??- chickenzoo
