Wolf or Coyote urine. Does it really work?

Because it doesn't. And this needs to stop. You are entitled to your opinion, but you are not qualified to over rule every one else's opinion on this thread. We will agree to disagree. End of discussion.

Wolf or Coyote urine. Does it really work?

    O. M. G..................................................Urine can repel or attract, depending on what nature intends it to do . That's why animals mark their territory. All these wildlife experts, oh, my. Who woulda thought? Next time I run into a State wildlife expert who has any...

Wolf or Coyote urine. Does it really work?

Honestly, my whole point is to relay my experience. It worked. Seems I was told some time ago that "my whole flock would be wiped out" by the foxes. That hasn't happened. I think the urine worked, probably in combination with our other efforts. But I do know that the first time I used the...

Wolf or Coyote urine. Does it really work?

What is the problem????? I simply said what worked for me! If someone wants to try it, I think it's worthwhile. And I'm not selling it. Every situation is different.

And you'd be surprised about how some animals DO think with their brains...more than some people.

Wolf or Coyote urine. Does it really work?

Um, not really. WE don't have bobcats here. It's too civilized. We have them living in the State, but not in this area. Guaranteed. And I'm not asking for an argument. I think it worked. Simple as that..

Wolf or Coyote urine. Does it really work?

Just an update for the record. We purchased bobcat (not coyote) urine, and I tried to spray it around the way a real bobcat would. Intermittently, and only very occasionally...every few days. We do not have bobcats (that I know of) living in this area. Since the time I started doing...

Wolf or Coyote urine. Does it really work?

Well...idk, but here's the update. We've put bobcat pee out twice..in a manner that I imagine the cat would do if he were marking. We confined the chicks to a pen last Monday. Have been out there several times a day with our Gator, or bashing pan lids, sometimes just walking, driving the car...

Wolf or Coyote urine. Does it really work?

different methods work for different people. Personally, i think it's a combination and alternation of methods. A lot of work sometimes, but it can pay off. We have had chickens since 2005 and have some chooks that were chicks in 2005 and we still have em. And several more are 5 & years old...

You use a leghold trap. Is that right?

Wolf or Coyote urine. Does it really work?

And no fox in his right mind is going to pee over bobcat urine. Other fox urine? Of course!

Wolf or Coyote urine. Does it really work?

Are either of you trappers or have either of you tried to use bobcat urine as a deterrent? And what was the result? The original op on this thread, that was their question wasn't it? "Will it work? " was the question. I don't think anyone knows because as far as I can see, no one has tried...

Wolf or Coyote urine. Does it really work?

If anyone is interested, I talked to a professional State licensed trapper here and learned the following: Foxes are virtually impossible to trap in a live trap. Leghold or snare trap works, but that's an automatic disqualifier for me I will not do that. Right now, in Ohio, it is illegal to...

Wolf or Coyote urine. Does it really work?

Yeah? So you want to come to our place and sit out in 90 plus temps and wait for the fox to come along all day, or not?? Personally, I can't do that. I don't want to shoot a fox. But yeah, they're becoming a problem here. Seriously. So, does coyote urine work, or not???? Who knows from...
