That's to funny!I want to get my girl(who is my little spoiled(like, come in the house spoiled)Little thing!)A leash and harness—But mum says no!—
BUT I can see her point. My girl is very tiny, so I can't even find the right size for her!XD
I guess I'm a cool mom
I've seen this in some of my girl's eggs from time to time. From what Ive been told, it's excess calcium. They say not to worry unless you chook appears or acts sick, then they say to check for worms in their poo.
I kinda like the specks! Like a little artist
It's too bad our town ordinance does not allow free ranging. I'll have to make or buy something that will get them out of the run. I've looked into those "peck n plays" but I kinda feel silly buying one

It's so true! Our yard is right up against some dense woods filled with coyotes, fox, Hawks, owls and raccoons. Making our chickens as safe as we could meant we had to build a Taj Mahal (insert eye roll) hahaha
Yes! Please list their names. Even if it's in groups. I love the creative names people pick out.
I even went as far as to name my coop "The Breakfast Club"
I love the names!!! Our chickens are Gertrude, Pippin, Cutie-Pie, Kieran, Princess and Worm. Our hamster is Mr.Minion, our dogs are Dingo, Shani, Calister and Derbis. Our fish have names but we have too many to list
Ha! It's pretty safe to say that most men fall in that category. We tend to love them regardless . Besides, my animal adores our chickens and children so he's a keeper
Hello!
My small flock has 4 golden comets and 2 Plymouth rocks.
I also have 3 dogs, a hamster, a freshwater fish tank and a salt water fish tank, an 8 year old son, a toddler and a husband (the biggest animal)
We also have quite the veggie garden!
I guess we are a mini homestead
