Well, we have Labor Day babies! Four eggs hatched, but we had to euthanize one of the babies today :( I suspect maybe rickets. The fifth egg is still in the incubator, day is day 23. At last candling it looked good, so maybe there is still hope.

Here are my two girls. I bought them a couple of weeks ago, and I believe they are Silver Penciled Plymouth Rock Bantams. I had never heard of the breed, until I started trying to figure out what my new little girls were. Sorry for such bad pictures. These girls are marathon runners...
