    I think it's genetic. IMO even environment can't shape a comb that much. Even if he's 9 weeks, he's still very much a cockerel

    Male specific feathering won't show for another month. I've had multiple white leghorns over the years, and no pullet has ever had that kind of comb before laying. But I digress. We have a leghorn expert here, so let's see what he has to say @The Moonshiner
