Thanks. I just now did a quick google search and it's the type of bag people use to make milk from almonds and such. No wonder I've never heard of it-my dd is allergic to nuts so I doubt I even go to any websites or stores that would have something like that.

That's one reason we don't free range or use tractors. But we would still like for our chickens to have some grass without my having to pick it every day. So I'm going to try the bungee thing.

Do you just sprout the wheat like the lady on the blog or do you use dirt? I like your idea because it seems like the trays would stay clean and there's no feeder to make (or to have my dh make).
