Mink are thrill killers is what ive been told,I personally have saw mink chase a cottontail then track it down like a dog would trail ,then ambush and kill the rabbit ,, Mink i fear more than coon because they are harder to detect because they can get through smaller wire spaces.

Great catch but that is a Mink ,i hope you didnt release him ,they can travel 2 miles in a home range and be back in no time ,, make sure he dont come back ,if its a male no others may follow but if it is a female they're may just be half grown young nearby.
