Magnet wand?

I'm sure this works but there have been incidental losses of poultry from using bromethelane in the past. There are chickens and dogs in the same areas as the rats. I'd need a solution that doesn't involve poison.

That's cool, I hadn't seen that before. However there are a lot of other animals in the barn. It looks like I'll have to just stick to cleaning better, removing the rabbit cages they hide under, and using dogs.

Which trap do you recommend? I will put out a live trap once a month and get one, but by the next night they have figured it out. My dog has been the most effective at catching them. He gets 1-2 /night and leaves them by the door for me.

Ok so is there any point using a bb gun indoors? Are there any other types of gun (pellet or airsoft guns) that would work?

Ok. Maybe I need something less powerful then, because the bullet might destroy the barn wall and/or hit another animal behind it. Are there less powerful rounds or guns that will still do the job?
