Update on my Cackle chicks:
I lost 5 of them. Well, technically 2, 3 were extras they sent. I'm down a splash Cochin, Turken, Easter Egger and 2 that could be speckled Sussex, Welsummer or brown Leghorn (they all sort of look the same). I guess shipping was just too hard on them. The rest are...

I kind of feel the same way, they are a bit creepy as adults :hide But, I wanted to try something new and "different", and thought the NNs would fit the bill perfectly. They're adorable right now, and they're SUPER friendly, so they're sort winning me over :)
My babies finally came it! My husband went to the post office and got them this morning. Everyone was alive, including the extras they sent. The little splash Cochin in the first pic (with its eyes closed) is doing a bit poorly, so I've been keeping a close eye on that one and giving it water...
