I wonder if the hatchery these TSCs are using is one of those middle man hatcheries that contracts out to individual breeders. That might explain the high instance of mixed chicks this year...

TSC gets their chicks from a hatchery.... Its always best to buy from a local breeder if you can. Better for the chicks because they don't have to be shipped. And better for you because you don't have to deal with losses from shipping and you can see and pick out your birds. Thats my $0.02 anyway.

I've seen a lot of posts that look like mixed breed chicks from TSC this year. Somebody at the hatchery seems to have dropped the ball big time!
