No, you don't need to toss eggs while using DE. In fact, the bottle mine came in recommends it be used directly in their feed as an anti-caking agent.

I would ask your vet about egg withdrawal while using the revolution. It may not be necessary to pitch them. If you choose something like Ivermectin, I believe the withdrawal period is 2 weeks.
Even if they are red mites, or roost mites as we call them, I would still think the revolution would kill them when they come out to feed on the birds at night.
