ah tis the season...my cat left a lovely young rat on the front porch as a gift. I did see it in time to stop the small dogs from going out & grabbing it. Mama Kitty still thinks of the small dogs (Lhasa's) as her babies & brings "food" for them from time to time...yuck!! The toads can sure...

Just a short but cute story related to fermented feed. I lived on a farm in Elizabeth, we had the usual mix of animals. outside the shed where the milk separator was we kept a 50 gallon barrel in it went scraps, milk, most anything that was loose or around that critters can eat then twice a day...

Congratulations on your new home I hope you are very happy there. I grew up in the Elizabeth area & loved it!! Yep we had a lil black footed fox about this AM as well. They are such beautiful animals. I will work hard to keep my birds safe without having to harm to another creature!!
