    I've got quail hatching! 88 eggs went into lockdown on Thursday, they started pipping last night and I counted 13 new babies this morning. Fingers crossed they ALL hatch, long shot and all.

    Those dark eggs are an absolute mystery. Marans and wellsummer moms obviously, but there were 4 different breeds of roo in there. One was an Americauna though, so possible olive eggers! It's a mixed flock. I love variety. :D
