if they are pure breed Ameraucana then any offsprings(Ameraucana x Barnies) will have pea combs and the hens will lay green eggs..

if you have pure ameraucanas the ALL of your F1s will have pea combs, if they are just mutts(easter eggers) then you are one of the few breeders that got lucky(about 4%) and got a few recombinants...

it is... but they have overcome that issue. now on legbar the O and the p+ are linked as close as it was O(blue egg gene) to P(pea comb, p+ is single comb).... you would have to breed about 100 to get 3 or 4 recombinants(O/p+)
