Really??? I have never seen a splash bird in an APA sanctioned show? I KNOW there must be breeders that use VERY well typed splash birds in order to get their nice blue birds. Why would splash be less allowable than blue? I mean...at least splash will breed true, whereas blue definitely will...

There is also a splash color which is not recognized by the APA but is recognized by breeders. Every variety had to start somewhere... Go figure?
