Doesn't look like lash material in the cut open photo so hopefully it's just a one off, but as coash723 said keep an eye out for any changes in behavior or any other additional spots or lumps similar to this.

Do you still have this mass? if so, can you cut it open and take a photo? Seems too large to be a meat spot but doesn't entirely look like lash material at first glance.
