Don't know if anyone has that cross as poms can be quite rare and yes Sebastopol geese have blue eyes.
The goslings most likely will turn out all white but you might get the odd pom coloured goslings.( goslings would have different colours if the Sebbie was female and pom was male).

Hey, never seen you around so cassy is new to me ;)
If you want a male house trained gander I'd advise you to stay away from the heavy breeds such as Embden, African and Toulouse because they are massive.
A Sebbie gander would actually be perfect because they are small and gentle.

Of course I can, I'm quite curious of how life is with 60 dewlap Africans? I can't wait really. Imagine a field full of buff Africans that would be a dream of success!
That's pretty handy to have a person buy all the time.
But the only problem with you giving him goslings is that there won't be any different blood lines for breeding.
Unless you have different bloodlines of course ;)
My flock one day will be a big flock of Africans.
Imagine 60 Africans
2013 I went from 30 to 60 geese (that year was the start of selling geese )
Last year myself and my geese hatched 96 goslings
I miss my flock but I'll catch up again ;)
I've read that pure African geese don't develop a dewlap until over a year old though some can grow earlier but the dewlap can take 3 years :)
It's interesting but I've seen pure African goslings grow dewlaps quite early.
Maybe it's their environment and what food you use etc etc.
I'll keep ye updated with pictures hopefully somewhere this week!
My brown African goslings usually start growing their dewlaps at 1year and a half which I don't know why because some have dewlaps at 8 months or less
Iain do you have the same problem?
Yea I think Livin left last time I was on earlier this year.
Don't worry Iain and Miss L I still have all my buffs ;)
I even still have sloppy Joe if you can remember him from the hatchalong last year.
I'm trying to find more buffs as they are the ones I want to go further with.
Iain how are...
