OK i'll probably let them free in their coop at about 2 1/2, 3 weeks. do you think a round, 6 ft across swimming pool would do?

also, would it be better if i kept the brooder inside? it would probably stay warmer... but then again, i'm just a newbie.

i have a problem getting my brooder to the right temperature. it wont get hot enough , even though the lamp is only half a foot off of the ground.please help!
