Thanks for the reply :) would be awesome if its a hen. That thread is really helpful thanks. I played with a chook colour calculator and it said GLW Roo X Salmon Fav hen = black based? Do you think this chick will be red/gold? Here it is today at 5 days old.- whatsthedealio

This little one day old chick is a Salmon Faverolles X Gold Laced Wyandotte Roo. I can tell as it has a fluffy beard and 5 toes. Any idea on sex? I'm new to this so don't understand sex linked colours etc. Will post more as it gets bigger :)- whatsthedealio
