There's a book called Gardening with Guineas. I am wondering who here has read it and if you would recommend it, and why. Thank you.

I got the book before I got my guineas several years ago.. I read it a lot in the beginning and it helped a lot on caring for my guineas when they finally arrived. Well worth reading for new guinea owners.

I love reading, especially about animal care. I find reading as many different sources as possible is very helpful, even if some of the sources aren't as good as others.

True. I like having a physical copy of info on hand... are there any other books about guinea fowl? This is the only one that I know of. I'm also looking for a good coturnix quail book.
I recently got rid of a number of books and am looking to replace them with better ones. I already have a huge amount of chicken and waterfowl books so I don't need any more of those, but feel free to suggest books on guineas or other poultry.

The Small Scale Poultry Flock (By Harvey Ussery)
Storey's Guide to Raising Poultry: 4th edition (Glenn Drowns)
How to Raise Poultry (Christine Heinrichs)

I found all these books to be useful and have information on a variety of poultry.

I bought the book before I got my guineas this spring. Some of the information is very helpful, but it's not a perfect instructional book. So, I'd say yes, if you're new to guineas. It's a nice place to start.
