I am worried I see one tall row but then two very short rows on its comb. Others thoughts?

At 8 weeks old, feathering isn't going to give much away. Male feathering doesn't start to develop until after 10 weeks old. Need a shot of the comb from straight on for this one.

10 week update. I'm afraid I see 3 rows in his comb but his behavior is so passive and meek. Any exceptions to the rule of 3 or is he definitely going to be a rooster?

I hope so but I read 3 rows are cockerels. Could he just be a slow bloomer? I have no other Brahmas to compare but he is far less developed than my Ameraucana cockerel

I've not heard that one, all chickens have a different number of points on their combs, go by the color and size of the comb at that age as well as the feathering.
