Chicken Breed Focus - Appenzeller Spitzhauben

Pics
I shall send some more pics of the birds in my sheds later. Here is a
700

winning Silver Spangled hen at the National Show.
She carries a clean, well shaped crest and tail, we prefer more "V" shaped spangles in the UK, however.

EHRedcaps, I love your Spitzhauben! Would you happen to sell hatching eggs or chicks internationally? Like, to remote American islands in the Pacific that few people are willing to ship to?

I have had chickens for over a year now and have 1 Spitzhauben hen who I love. I am considering finding her a roo. I ave studied her and think she is close to standard. She is my most consistent layer about 4 or 5 a week. She is friendly and curious. I would like other opinions please.

This bird has some real nice potential. In a rooster for her, I'd look for a lighter (color & build) bird with a small white crest. Or at least that would be the goal match for her. She's got nice slate blue legs and looks like dark eyes. She's a nice looking bird!

I've been snowed in for weeks. I decided to start needle felting my chickens. I wanted to share my ASpitz with you guys because I though my you'd love it like I do. here's my Goose

That's sooooo cute! I love the detailed comb & "spitz"!

Do you have any more in your felted flock? Would love to see some pics.
You should also post them here:
