A neighbor just found her in his garage. I don't have words for how grateful i am to see her beautiful little self.

She's had a rough time of it,, I don't know what I need to watch for.

She's almost weightless, her feathers and comb are pale. She drank lots of water and ate and had a small green and white poop. She groomed and fluffed and walked a little. Shes weak and tired. Sleeping now in my bed.
Any advice would be much appreciated.

That is incredible!

Keep up the work with getting her back to health. There is no guarantee that even with food, water, and love she will live, but one of my hens is living proof that it can happen. Best of luck and please keep us updated!

Heres her picture from today.

I didnt even recognise her at first and couldnt hear what the guy was saying cuz staring so hard at the strange chicken he was holding, and finally... is that Sassy?? It is!
Just yesterday I told my adult daughter I couldnt get over losing Sassy. When I realized she'd been gone 3 months, I knew it was ridiculous to believe she was alive somewhere. I stopped mentioning her to anyone, I knew it must be getting tiresome! But.. I still asked the universe to protect her and send her home no matter how absurd the wish was. And here she is 4 months and 8 days later.
I guess I'm crazy sounding,, but thats just how it be.
Thank you so much for interest and encouraging words! I will keep you updated

Heres one more, taken last summer for comparison. I admit to using the "magic wand" on this,, it just showed her colors off so nicely. :)
