My pygmy buckling is about to turn 1 month old and weighs around 12lbs. He eats well, has a shiny soft coat, and is super friendly. The only thing is, he is very chill.. almost oddly chill for a buckling. Should i be worried he isn't bouncing around all the time? He will play on some of the obstacles i have for my goats sometimes but that is mostly when he is showing off when the other goats are doing it. I just feel like he may not have the "footing" he should at his age, I wouldn't say he is clumsy he just doesn't do a lot.. Is it his personality? For example I fed my older goats some of their grains today and he decided he would lay in the food dish and eat have a taste.. ??? Normal?

Are you bottle feeding him, or is he nursing, at that age they are still mostly drinking milk, perhaps he needs more, low energy is a sign of something wrong.

Where are you? Some areas are selenium deficient. Low energy and clumsiness can be a sign of white muscle disease. Which is another way of saying selenium deficiency. He may need some BoSe and I think you have to get that from the vet. White muscle affects the heart among other organs.
