Hello! I have two five month old buff silkie roos in need of rehoming. They have been handled since they were chicks and are comfortable and friendly towards humans. I just have too many roos, and these guys are on the bottom of the roo pecking order. They aren't miserable or getting hurt (all my roos are pretty mellow) but they aren't as happy as they could be, either. Besides that, I need fewer roos about bothering my hens.

The first one, Daffodil, is a beardless buff silkie. He's got great coloring, and is calm. He won't necessarily come up to you, but he's fine with being held. He hasn't crowed yet, but given the behavior and the size of his comb and bearing, there's no doubt he's a roo!

The second is Tiny. Tiny definitely has some mixed breed going on- I would guess that he's only 3/4 silkie, and he's something of an odd duck. He's got more white showing through the buff, is a bit lanky, and has a flat red comb. To be honest, I'm not *entirely* positive he's a roo, because of the oddness and because he hasn't crowed at all yet, but based on behavior that's my suspicion. He is super duper friendly and sweet though- he'll hop right into your lap to beg for treats if you let him!

These two were raised together and are perfectly comfortable with each other, so I'm happy to re-home them together or separately. I can deliver to anywhere in north western Oregon or south western Washington.

I'll try to get some pictures up soon!

I might be able to do that in a couple weeks- would you be willing to wait until mid-September? I could drive them up on a Saturday or Sunday.

For reference, I did manage to take a few pictures:

Both together (they love hanging out with each other):
