I have 6 campbell duck eggs ive been dry incubating for 19 days and today i candled them to find the air sacks are covering just over a third of the egg. Is this too much at this stage? This is my first time hatching! :)

That sounds like it might be a bit too much but a picture would be easier to tell you. What has your humidity been at?

I've been dry hatching and haven't been recording the humidity, this is my first time hatching!

That actually looks pretty good. I would highly recommend getting a hygrometer to keep an eye on what your humidity is at. Even if you hatch dry, when it's time for lockdown, you will want to raise the humidity and a hygrometer will tell you if it's high enough or too high. Even throughout the hatch, you can use the air cells to gauge if they are losing enough moisture but until you know what is normal and what is not, a hygrometer will be a good guide.

Good luck with your hatch!
