Hello,
About 1 week ago, one of our chickens layed an abnormally larger and especially long egg. Only one of our chickens had started laying a couple weeks before that, but layed very small eggs (she started at 17 weeks old) therefore we thought our second buff orpington had started laying at 19 weeks as she is fairly bigger than the first, and layed the big egg
. The larger one has not layed anything after that. Today, we cracked the egg to find that it had 2 yolks! Is it possible that it was the smaller chicken's egg afterall, and was only bigger because of the extra yolk? The bigger BO has not layed since then, so maybe it was not actually her egg, and she still has not started
. Whose egg???
Thanks
