He started crowing and it sounds like a new thing for him. Where he lived they had 5 roosters together so maybe he never really crowed . now just hope he starts being more manly with the girls
Sometimes they do take longer to mature. When I see them take longer, they usually fall to the bottom of a pecking order. Other roos's step up to the plate with the lady's and they'll fall to the bottom of the pecking order. If he is the only roo, he'll likely mature and do o.k. without competition.
