Sorry. Since posting this I have watched this hen (first her name was Helen, then Hal and now its Helen again -Yeh!) go into the nesting box and lay. She is not a very good layer though. I am just getting back to this forum and like reading the questions and comments and how anyone else is doing their BYC. Since losing the three black chickens my husband is expanding my run on the coop and then the chickens are confined. Its kind of a cool run and yes, when it is done I will post a picture -
