Once you eat those eggs store bought will be almost not edible.I just wanted to update this and let you guys know that we FINALLY started getting eggs! It only took them like... 26 weeks. I think Fluff was the first one to start laying (one of the girls from the second batch) and then a couple days later we started getting eggs from Nacho too. They've laid almost every day this week! The eggs are still pretty small but they're so much tastier than the store bought ones! My daughter and I had a taste test with our first egg and the yolks are so much darker than store bought, almost orange, and creamier too. We're still waiting on the other three to get the hint and start laying too Creampuff (the one we were so positive was a pullet from the beginning) seems to have stopped maturing. She's smaller than all the others with a tiny pink (not red) comb. They all started doing the squat thing around Christmas time, not sure why we aren't seeing more eggs from them.
