I have 5 guineas and 6 chickens in a 10x10 coop with a 10x20 run plenty of perches . my question is this winter when its too cold out and the snow is up to your well you know . and there stuck in side all the time . will they get along . now they kind of know there places and the chicken go out in the run then they go in when the guineas go out when the guineas roost the chicken are out and about in the coop . I think it will be ok but that a long time together this winter

I have 25 Guinea up at the barn. Thier area is 24x12 with a 14 foot pitch roof at the pitch. They have been in there all Summer and I have a few Game Bird Roosters in there with them. They do not seem to get aggressive with the roosters. They do pick on each other occassionally.
I could not let them out becuase they tend to build nests in the pasture and I let the pasture grow until the grass went to seed this year.
They are getting out here in the next few weeks. They have stopped laying and the fall months tend to be more favorable for them.

I live in Wisconsin and it can get pretty bad here..I plan on getting Guineas this coming spring and possibly black copper maran chickens (not sure on the chickens yet) if I coop them up all winter will they get aggressive with the chickens...this coop hasn't been used in 20+ years and I'm restoring it I don't have any measurements on how big it is....but I want to the run before winter hits this. How tall should I make the run for 25-30 Guineas plus 5 chickens? I'm also wondering if anyone can give instructions on how to build a chicken tunnel that would be big enough for Guineas to go through as well.
Thanks
