Does anyone else here sell eggs to a retail grocery store? I just started doing this plus selling to individuals. We working with a flock of about 60 chickens. If anyone else is selling on this scale what size flock do you have? What volume of eggs are you selling?
 
Not yet. Between eating eggs to individuals, hatching egg sales and our own consumption I haven't had any excess.
I have a few questions.
What state are you in? Are your eggs fertile? I guess you have an egg permit from your ag department? How complicated is that to get?
I wouldn't mind switching my eating egg sales to a store like trader joes or whole foods. Their fertile eggs come from 3 states away.
