Hello!

I am hatching my second batch of button quail eggs and am onto lockdown day 2 today. (The first chick I've incubated died fully formed)

I am using blue tack LIGHTLY wrapped around the eggs to them in upright position since incubation day 14. But I notice the egg no longer wobble like before. Is it too tight or too restrictive for the chicks to hatch?

Remember that there is a lot of respiration that goes on through the egg shell, you don't want to restrict this.
How did your hatch turn out?

they do not need to be on the tip of the egg just lay them with the pointy end downward not in the up right position, you are forcing the legs into that tiny space and will have problems with the walking, the head is at the large end. Good luck.
