Just curious. Is this goat a Saanen? Years ago I had a neighbor who had a Saanen doe that came into milk before she was bred. She gave eight pounds of milk a day for years without ever kidding. Her owners were thrilled.

This goat is a LaMancha/Boer cross. The goat did have a kid once but almost died. She's been milking her year round for 4 years now. Since she has more milk than she can use or sale at the moment, she is only milking her once a day.
