I have 4 leghorns. All related and 17 weeks old. 1 has a really large floppy comb and the others have a bit smaller but firmer and straight up comb. They all look like males to me but im just not sure. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Leghorns, Anconas, Minorcas, Penedesencas, Andalusians, Spanish, Castellanas and Catalanas all have huge combs. The roosters stand erect and the hens flop over but the pullets take much longer to grow their combs than the cockerels.

If you had them from chicks, you would have noticed the cocks combs growing after just a few weeks. If you just got them then you can judge by the flop or erect. In a few more weeks the roosters will acquire pointier wing, hackle and tail feathers plus that big curved tail.

It's hard to see saddle feathers on those birds. I can't tell if they are just really dirty, but Leghorns should be solid white. And they seem really small for nearly mature birds.
