Newly hatched chick - is something wrong?

I have another egg that was put in the incubator at the same time is the one that hatched. I'm thinking it might not have made it because I have seen it move in about 24 hours. I also have 3 others that I put in 2 days later. Two of those haven't pipped yet but this is what the other one looks like. Is it safe to take the hatched chick out? He seems to really want to get out of there.

How long has that egg been pipped?  What is your humidity? You can take out the dry chick and take out that pipped egg if you can keep your humidity up to 65%.  You could read the "assisted hatch"  article  (  https://www.backyardchickens.com/a/step-by-step-guide-to-assisted-hatching  ), and proceed with that egg if it's not made progress since your last post.  Helping with hatch is a controversial subject.  A number of us do it, with excellent results.  But, you've got to know how to do it, and most especially, when to do it.  That comes with experience.  Sometimes a chick simply can't make it out of the egg because it's too large to get into the right position.  This has nothing to do with an inherent weakness that makes the chick not capable of becoming a productive flock member.

If the chick is still in the shell it hasn't hatched. And from everything I have been reading you're not supposed to help them hatch. When they are ready they will emerge.
