Adding wheels?

This is our tractor, we just got it. It is 4x10 and when you get it up onto those wheels it moved easy. However, it is almost too heavy for me to lift up and do that. Do you think a set of wheels could be added to the front?

If so, what kind/size would you add?

Just curious... do you remove the wheels after you move it ???
Hubby took our TSC junky, cra--y unit and put small wheels on one end and brackets to hold a 1 by 4 or so far handles.. we slightly raise it and it moves fine....
course yours may be more heavier and more solidly built...
I can move it fine by myself since the junkys are lightweight....
Now only use them occ since we have bigger coops.. used them in spring to let the( then chicks) out on a sunny day for a few hours
we keep those TSC junkys in one of those" Shelter Logics" "tents or sheds" out of the weather...

I had to use a dolly to move it forward. I can push it backwards more easily. The wheels stay on all the time. This thing is pretty heavy and pushing it along uneven grass is not easy. There has to be an easier way
 
check out some you tubes... maybe attaching a trailer ball or hitch if you can get one. if you have say a wheeler , golf cart, tractor small even tractor to pull it

what about putting one of those cranks that horse trailers have (or using a regular car jack?) to hoist the front end up onto some kind of wheeled thing... like a sturdy wagon...

I picture putting the front end ON something that's already wheeled, or onto a vehicle that can tow it... from a lawn tractor to a 4X4 to a car/truck. Raising it's the issue, right? What about a crank or jack to get it UP, then tow it with something else?

Then maybe you should push it instead of pull it?
May be get some help to position it so you can push it yourself for a a few weeks?

Tractors are a great idea and seem simple, but the reality of them is often much more difficult.....
.....just like having chickens in general, there's often a 'Romance meets Reality moment that makes you re-assess and find solutions.
 
Yeah pushing it is not too bad. It's pulling that's the problem. A trailer like wheeled jack is a good idea. Maybe I can rig something up like that
