what chickens should I get

Hey everyone I'm looking to get about 6 chicken for the soul purpose of egg laying what would be the best common bread I can get off of ie efowl.com or other websites I also live in Georgia for climate questions
 
Barred rocks are fantastic egg layers that lay for a long time. Rhode island reds, black australorps, white leghorns, stars, etc. are also good egg laying breeds.
 
For pure egg laying you should stick with White Leghorns, Red Sex-Links, and Black Sex-Links. If you don't mind fewer eggs and want more variety, Wyandottes, Easter Eggers, Australorps, Rhode Island Reds, and Plymouth Rocks are also good choices.
